Family-friendly Water Park spills details of its latest milestone as the resident Joker LEGO® model arrives at its new home
LEGOLAND® Water Park, part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, the region’s largest integrated theme park destination, is adding the finishing touches to the popular Joker Soaker attraction with the arrival of its most important inhabitant- the Joker LEGO® model.
Made from an estimated 100,000 red, blue and yellow LEGO bricks, the Joker watches over the interactive Joker Soaker playground, where the whole family will slide and splash together at the Middle East’s only Water Park designed for families with children aged 2-12.
The fun play area is filled with seven slides of various lengths and heights including The Master Jugglers, four tot sized slides, the Junior Joker and the Jokester Run, all perfect for the Water Park’s younger guests. In addition, there are climbing areas, water spouts, a wading pool and what is sure to be everyone’s favourite feature- torrential spill from the Joker’s 300-gallon bucket.
Along with the Joker Soaker, LEGOLAND Water Park will feature 20 slides and water attractions when it opens with LEGOLAND Dubai in October 2016, each offering a different and fun-soaked experience. Splash-loving toddlers will love the DUPLO® Splash Safari featuring four small slides, whilst children of all ages be thrilled by the LEGO Wave Pool, Splash ‘N’ Swirl ride, and Splash Out slide.
Siegfried Boerst, General Manager of LEGOLAND Dubai said: “The Joker Soaker, with its drenching bucket spill, slides and Joker LEGO model, is one of LEGOLAND Water Park’s most iconic attractions, offering thrills and spills for every member of the family.
“We are delighted to add the finishing touches to this attraction and welcome the Joker model to its new home as we approach our October 2016 opening.”
