Dubai Parks and Resorts PJSC (under incorporation), a subsidiary of Meraas Holding, has signed an agreement with Etisalat, the UAE’s leading telecommunications services provider, for the deployment of smart technologies across the mega leisure and entertainment project taking shape in Dubai.
As part of the agreement, Etisalat and Dubai Parks and Resorts will collaborate to facilitate a seamless digital experience for visitors to the entertainment destination. Etisalat will power the entire Dubai Parks and Resorts destination with the most advanced and innovative solutions.
The solutions provided by Etisalat will enable the delivery of efficient and intuitive services for visitor registration, smart parking, connected transport, online ticketing and digital payment. The agreement will also facilitate the exchange of expertise on operational services, such as security system and utilities management across the multiple components that will define Dubai Parks and Resorts.

Dubai Parks and Resorts unveiled the blueprint of the mega leisure and entertainment destination in September 2014. The development will comprise three theme parks – motiongateTM Dubai, LEGOLAND® Dubai and Bollywood ParksTM Dubai. The destination will also include a four star resort hotel (Lapita Hotel), and Riverpark – a complementary retail, dining and entertainment district that connects the three theme parks and hotel. Strategically located between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the mega development is slated for completion before the end of the third quarter of 2016.
