Dubai Parks and Resorts has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with dnata, one of the largest international travel sales networks, to be the preferred travel partner for the destination, which opens in October 2016.
The commercial agreement allows Dubai Parks and Resorts access to dnata’s extensive travel portfolio to support them in the sale and distribution of tickets and visitor packages to customers across the globe who are planning to visit the development’s four parks – motiongateTM Dubai, Bollywood ParksTM Dubai, LEGOLAND® Dubai and LEGOLAND® Water Park.
dnata’s network covers key international markets including UK, Europe, Australia and Africa – with more than 200 direct outlets alone in the Middle East and India – with online, offline, customer contact centres, as well as MICE business. Raed Al Nuaimi, CEO of Dubai Parks and Resorts, said: “We are very pleased to be working with dnata as a preferred partner. As one of the biggest travel companies in the world this partnership opens up many opportunities for us to showcase Dubai Parks and Resorts to guests across the globe. dnata’s experience, wide reach and support allows us to take another step towards our goal of every guest having an amazing experience from the moment they decide to visit Dubai Parks and Resorts.”
Iain Andrew, dnata’s Divisional Senior Vice President, said: “Dubai Parks and Resorts is set to be the region’s premier multi-themed leisure and entertainment destination and therefore for us it was a natural fit to partner with them on their exciting journey. We are very much looking forward to working with them to offer visitors the best possible experience when in the parks, and also when travelling to and from the destination.”
dnata will also have a presence within the parks, allowing visitors to pick up tickets and offers for other Dubai attractions and enabling them to experience all Dubai has to offer.
In addition, the partnership places dnata as the transportation provider to the resort destination for tourists who will be travelling from Dubai hotels, whilst the City Sightseeing bus will also have a DPR stop making it easy for visitors to reach the destination.
